Cultural celebration – S

S came to us with a specific request.  She was wanting a ring that was pretty and cute for her cultural fest at the end of the month.  She’d seen and fallen in love with a gorgeous teal stone on our Instagram page and was very open to how the design may look. 

We started playing with cluster designs and S had great fun designing her own unique piece via messenger – “move this one here”, “maybe a darker colour here”, “switch out the pink and replace with yellow”… we really enjoy this part about the process, and were more than happy to indulge with unlimited variations!  S finessed her design until it was just perfect and she went to bed a very happy lady. 

The next morning though S felt one of the colours wasn’t sitting right, and she suddenly thought to check her astrology to make sure the design fit in with the advice.  Unfortunately online advice suggested that S could only basically wear yellow and pink Sapphire.  So we set to work redesigning her piece from scratch.  The design S ended on is a gorgeous Yellow round, and several Padparadscha marquise fanning off like sun’s rays.  This reminded S of a sunrise.  We wrapped these treasures in delicious 18k Rose Gold which added to the warmth and overall effect.  It very much fit the criteria of pretty and cute and was the perfect piece for her cultural fest. 

Despite a very quick turnaround time we managed to get it to her even before the deadline, and have totally nailed the brief – S is very happy with her “dainty cute” and very unique ring.
