ENGAGEMENT & WEDDING RING IDEAS AND INSPIRATION
Custom made Engagement & Wedding rings
Same same is boring – it tends to come down to ‘the size of the prize’ *eye roll*. Instead, why not create your very own engagement ring without any thought to societal expectations? This is something you will wear and cherish everyday for the rest of your life, so make it for YOU!Â
The Stone
We recommend Diamond (natural or lab-grown), Sapphire or Ruby as the hardest stones, therefore the most durable and perfect for everyday wear. We can absolutely work with you using any other option (eg. Emerald, Alexandrite or manmade alternatives like Moissanite) and will help guide you through considerations for each.
We love a Diamond – it is classic, elegant and timeless.
We also love the idea of having something unique for you, not an ‘off the shelf’ carbon copy of the next ring.Â
Colour is often a big part of expressing ourselves, so if you are open to a coloured stone we strongly recommend Sapphire for your engagement ring. Sapphire is the hardest and most durable coloured stone, and comes in every colour and hue you can imagine! From light, subtle colour to vivid, deep or bright colours – there will be a shade of natural Sapphire for everyone. (Note: Lab-grown Sapphires come in a limited range of colours, and unlike Diamonds they are visually different to the natural stone. Labs can not recreate the magic of colour that Earth creates and for this reason we are big fans of natural Sapphire over here!)
The Design
Make it simple, or create an art masterpiece, the vast colour available with Sapphire allows you to create your bespoke Sapphire engagement ring exactly to suit you.
And of course if you have created a bespoke engagement ring, then a bespoke wedding ring can be created to complement! Whether it bends around the curves, or sits flush (ie. straight) under your setting. Whether it is a pavé band (bejeweled in diamonds or other precious stones), or a simple solid plain metal band. You can create your own bespoke wedding ring design to achieve the final look you are going for.

The meaning behind this design
Design: Bespoke Cluster
The Stone: A reimaged engagement ring, this design started with the central Padparadscha Sapphire. Chosen as it had been their gorgeous wedding colour!

The meaning behind this design
Design: Solitaire
The Stone: The groom-to-be wanted a super clear Diamond with a great colour grade, not too big to ensure it was practical and was happy to go with a Lab-grown Diamond which meant he could stretch the budget with other aspects of the ring.
The Detail: He had done quite extensive research before coming to us so knew pretty much what he wanted, but he still worked tirelessly on the detail – trialling a couple of options for how the diamond was set. We also trialled a couple of different pavé settings to ensure we had it right.
