Andrew & Megen had been looking for the perfect ring for a very long time…in fact, their wedding came and went and they still hadn’t found ‘the one’.  Rather than stress and settle though, they used a fill-in for the day, with the intent to replace them with their forever rings when they found them. (The dreams, the journey is half the fun, so how smart was Megen to draw out this part of the fun!)

They eventually stumbled across Hart & Halo and Megen spent a lot of time on our page comparing Sapphires.  There was one in particular that she kept coming back to, and when she saw it in our Design Inspo feed on Instagram she knew she’d finally found it.

The trans-tasman distance was no barrier, with Andrew picking up the reins on Insta messenger we worked through some options for how exactly she’d be set.  After seeing a couple of options during our CAD process (Computer Aided Design), he picked the high-set cathedral setting for that added strength, and which allowed for a straight pavé wedding band in due course.  He loved the double prongs on each of the corners, to help emphasize the octagonal shape of the Sapphire.  And he added some special engraving on the inside of the band – his name + wedding date.

Andrew and Megen are both thrilled with how it turned out.  The time they took to find the right Sapphire (and us) was “so worth the wait”.  Yay – so happy to have crafted your dream ring Megen.  Good things definitely come to those who wait!  Congrats you two x
