Karma spent many many months looking for a ring and while she found several she liked, they weren’t quite “the one”. She had managed to narrow down the sort of look she liked and decided to give the custom route a go.
She was drawn to the hexagon shape but was also open to others…we presented several stones from our collection and it was this gorgeous elongated hexagon that Karma & Luke fell in love with.
In terms of the design, they were open to many options, but this didn’t make the decision easy as they were all so beautiful! We gave Karma & Luke space and time and they eventually managed to narrow it down to a 3-stone design with just the right amout of framing on that gorgeous Sapphire, without detracting from it. Then there were the details (prongs, walls or no, band shape/style…) each decision was very well considered. Once it got to those final details we encouraged them to challenge themselves with a game of This or That, which helped with those last few decisions. The split band they landed on to symbolise where they got engaged – at the Rialto Bridge in Venice!
And this is Karma’s ring. A beautiful design with much thought and attention to detail. Each aspect so carefully considered and consciously chosen. This is Karma through and through, and what a beautiful heirloom they have created.
