Just Cause – Kelly

Kelly visited us when creating her New Beginnings ring to confirm the central Sapphire in her design.  She wanted to try a couple of options and one of them was this gorgeous Padparadscha.  While it wasn’t the right stone for her beautiful cluster ring, she couldn’t shake it from her mind.  Love at first sight you might say.  Sometimes you meet a stone that you know will bring you immense joy and pleasure on a daily basis.  And why deny yourself that?!  You are the master of your own happiness…A few weeks later she made it hers ♥

Kelly was open to design ideas, loved different, unique – a big fan of our work so she gave us free reign to see what we could come up with!  We had a great time with open play, trialling and evolving designs.  Some were simple, some more extravagant, and it was this design that really captured Kelly – YES!

Here we wanted to ensure the Padparadscha (Pad) remained the centre of attention.  When you find a Sapphire this unique and beautiful you leave her to it!  All we needed was this gorgeous wee hex Diamond which paired with her beautifully, celebrating different and emphasizing her neighbours colour, they were the perfect match.  To give the whole design a bit more lift we trailed a row of Diamonds down one side.  Assymetric! Fun! Spice!

We are so in love with your ring Kelly, as you know it was hard for us to pass on! You know you’ve nailed it for the client when that happens though.  And if we’re able to bring that spark of love and joy on a daily basis for others, well, thats our altruistic trait x
