Bi-Colour Sapphire Stones

The best thing about natural sapphires is that they are created by the Earth, and with this comes the variation and diversity bestowed upon all natural creations.  Colour is not without this variety.  As well as the full range of colours, we are also lucky enough to sometimes have multiple colours within one stone.
The terms bi-colour sapphire and parti-coloured sapphires are often interchangeable, however essentially means two or more distinct colours within the stone.  Parti generally refers to completely different colour zones where the colours are not mixing, while bi-colour (or tri-colour for 3 colours) is likely a little more mixed.  So while the sapphire was being formed the conditions and elements around them changed, resulting in differing colours achieved within the same stone.

Pure science and chance resulting in the most unique and distinctive sapphire, and this phenomenon can not be replicated in a lab!
