Engagement / Wedding Story – Lisa & Benji

Lisa met Benji through mutual friends and after a year or two as friends they decided there could be something more.  Their story is a beautiful, easy, take it as it comes type affair.  No timelines or expectations, just doing what is right for them.

About 4 years ago, with Lisa suffering from morning sickness, Benji took her on a drive to enjoy a nice scenic walk.  The drive was windy and coupled with the morning sickness Lisa was not having a good time.  Once out of the car, Lisa needed a cookie to help settle the stomach.  She asked Benji for one and turned around with him down on one knee!  “Yes!” she said “now just give me the cookie!”  Benji had picked a placeholder ring for the occasion as he knew Lisa would want to decide on her own forever ring when the time was right.

Fast forward 4 years and Lisa had made her decision.  She knew what ring she wanted, now it was just about figuring out how to make it happen!  When Lisa stumbled across Hart & Halo she was impressed with our Sapphire selection.  She fell in love with her Australian Teal Sapphire and contacted us to enquire.  Lisa loved our easy, responsive communication and so we had the honour of crafting her dream piece.
