Eternity Ring Story – Brigette

Eternity

"Oh wow! It looks so different!"

Brigette inherited a beautiful Diamond and Ruby piece from her Great Grandmother that was >80 years old.  Beautiful, but aged and not something she was likely to wear all that often.  She made the decision to repurpose the stones into something more her so that she could love wearing it everyday.  We played around with a couple of designs and found Brigette liked the idea of an easy straight symmetrical line up of the stones.  She decided it could sit with her wedding set as an Eternity ring.  While working through the design we needed to consider her other rings, in particular her Engagement ring, and how her solitaire Diamond would sit with these stones.  We also wanted to ensure the design felt in harmony with the other rings, part of the set, rather than a different aesthetic altogether.

As the two Diamonds were a little smaller than the Ruby’s from the ring, we featured these in the middle, to ensure her Engagement Diamond wasn’t going to be touching, and therefore allow them all to sit flush.  With regards to the setting, we took inspiration from the Engagement ring and created a 6-pronged Tulip setting.

Voila. The perfect fit.  Like it was meant to be!  Brigette’s Eternity ring will bring memories of her Great Grandmother every time she glimpses at it.  How very special that she will now live on for an Eternity xx
