This clever shape, known as a Calves Head, is like a triangle with the point chopped off. More edgey and chic than the trillion cut (triangle with soft curved edges), and not as sharp and piercing as a triangle (straight sides, 3 points), the calves head is a lovely elogated shape that sits somewhere between a pear and a tapered baguette. This stone has an electric palette of blues and greens underneath the dark exterior – I could dance with you until the cows come home.
